The Center for the Performing Artist has identified several key specialty services that can be coordinated depending on each performer’s needs. For example, we have a team of highly skilled neurologists who are available to treat conditions such as tremors, dystonia, and other movement disorders. In addition, Columbia University Irving Medical Center is home to a wide range of experts in orthopedics, urology, cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonology, oncology, and other areas to help address any medical concerns of the performer. The Center for the Performing Artist draws on this range of expertise to coordinate the most effective treatment approach for each of our patients.
