Our mission at the Kidney and Pancreatic Transplant Program at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is to offer our patients unmatched surgical skill, world-class support, and expanded access to live donor organs. We offer transplants for kidney failure associated with a number of conditions, including: End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Chronic Kidney Disease, Diabetes, Hypertension, and Genetic. Liver Transplant
The Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation at Columbia University Irving Medical Center combines expert care from multiple specialities in order to treat every form of liver disease. Founded in 1998, we are one of the first liver programs built from the start as a multidisciplinary unit, which has allowed us to provide unparalleled treatment. As both an academic facility and multidisciplinary unit, we are equipped to offer the very best in medical care, patient services, and health research. Cardiac Surgery
The Cardiac Surgery Program at Columbia University Irving Medical Center takes a comprehensive approach to treating every form and severity of heart disease. This includes a full suite of surgical care for conditions like heart attacks, heart failure, and aortic disease, as well as specialized services for less common conditions like cardiac tumors and connective tissue disorders. Colorectal Surgery

Endocrine Surgery (Thyroid, Parathyroid, Adrenal)
The Endocrine Surgeons at Columbia University Irving Medical Center provide care as part of a team-based approach with their colleagues in medical endocrinology, oncology, radiology, pathology, genetics, and anesthesiology. Parathyroid Surgery

Adrenal Surgery

Gallbladder and Appendix (General Surgery)

Pancreas Surgery
The Pancreas Center at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is one of the first dedicated multidisciplinary centers of its kind in the world. Studies have shown that patients who undergo pancreas surgery at high-volume centers that perform more than 16 pancreas operations per year experience fewer complications and enjoy more successful outcomes.
