At the Women’s Genetic Center, we offer comprehensive genetic counselling and cutting-edge genomic testing such as whole genome sequencing. We strive to provide individualized, patient-centered care with an emphasis on accuracy, quick turn-around times, and compassion throughout the genetic testing and results process.

Getting Started

Patient care at the Women’s Genetics Center begins with a consultation with one of our American Board-Certified Genetic Counselors to discuss patient medical history, values, and goals for the genetic testing process. Following this initial meeting, patients have the option to connect with a financial coordinator to discuss the costs associated with care.

For patients who choose whole genome sequencing, fetal and parental samples will be collected and interpreted by a team of expert laboratory scientists. Results will be shared with patients and their care teams and can be used to inform pregnancy and delivery management.
