Access to the Latest Treatments

As part of CUIMC/NYP, we are active in research exploring new and innovative treatments and a better understanding of these diseases. We are currently one of several academic centers that maintain a Bronchiectasis Research Registry. We use the information collected in this registry to study these diseases and monitor patient outcomes over time. The registry helps us better understand patients with Non-Cystic Fibrosis Bronchiectasis and patients with Non-Tuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM) infections. The registry allows for easy identification of patients who may be eligible for appropriate clinical trials. Columbia is also conducting several clinical trials studying various treatments for bronchiectasis.
