The Russ Berrie Medical Science Pavilion is located at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) in Washington Heights, NYC. It is part of the Audubon Biomedical Science and Technology Park in upper Manhattan, a premier university-related research park fostering academic and commercial research and development.
It holds the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center, a leading center for the treatment of diabetes, the Institute for Cancer Genetics, which studies the molecular mechanisms and pathogenesis of cancer, the Columbia Genome Center, dedicated to the technology, information science, systems, and population theory to transform information from the genome to the study of biology and the practice of medicine, and the Associates in Internal Medicine clinic, providing care to the surrounding community.
