ColumbiaDoctors immunologists and pediatric rheumatologists provide the most advanced care in diagnosing and treating children and adults with common as well as rare disorders such as primary immune deficiencies. Our doctors have assumed leadership roles in the Clinical Immunology Society and organize case conference webinar series.

• Our Immunodeficiency Clinic is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of primary immunodeficiencies (immunodeficiencies that are not associated with HIV infection). These are genetic conditions that increase an individual’s susceptibility to infections. We recently were named by New York State as a referral center for Severe Combined Immunodeficiency and have been rapidly expanding our program in patient care.
• The Rheumatology section offers state-of-the-art specialized care in all autoimmune diseases including Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Dermatomyosistis, and Uveitis. Our specialists are board certified in Pediatric Rheumatology and are devoted towards educating doctors, patients, and their families.

We offer as well access to Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital's many pediatric subspecialists and surgeons.
